During the span of her career Barbara has held various executive positions including marketing, sales, management and consultation. Barbara blends insurance savvy with entrepreneurial enthusiasm. She has extensive experience in employee benefits which enables her to provide her clients with competitive, comprehensive and innovative insurance programs. Barbara has published numerous articles on employee benefits topics including cost saving tips, employee wellness, and the Patient Protection and Affordability Care Act. She has been a speaker on employee benefits at the USC and UCLA Management School on the topic of employee wellness, and is frequently quoted by the SFV Business Journal on health insurance subjects. Barbara has also been a guest speaker on the Pat Morrison show on NPR.
Barbara holds a Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Redlands, and earned the GBDS (Group Benefits Disability Specialist) designation from the American College, Hartford VAULT program. She is a dedicated health insurance advocate, a member of the VICA Health Care and VICA Membership committees, and an active member of the Los Angeles Health Underwriters Association, the California Association of Health Underwriters, the American Association of Long-Term Care, and Habitat for Humanity (San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley Affiliate). |
